I Help…
I specialize in individual therapy, teen counseling, and couples therapy for people from all walks of life, with a focus on those who may feel unseen or misunderstood. You might benefit from therapy if you’re experiencing:
- Difficulty building community or social connections
- Struggles in past or current romantic or platonic relationships
- Life transitions like entering high school, college, or adulthood
- Relationship challenges and communication breakdowns
- Low self-worth, body image issues, or perfectionism
- Feeling like you don’t fit into traditional social or cultural norms
- Isolation due to cultural identity, sexuality, or neurodiversity
As a culturally sensitive therapist, I provide a safe space where you can explore your identity, experiences, and relationships without judgment.
What to Expect in Therapy With Me
Starting therapy can feel intimidating—but it’s also empowering. Here’s what our work together will look like:
- A collaborative therapeutic relationship where your voice and values are honored
- Validation of your emotions and lived experiences
- Practical tools and personalized coping strategies for real-life challenges
- Insight into how your past has shaped your present
- Support at your pace—meeting you where you are, not pushing you to change before you’re ready
This is your space to heal, explore, and grow—without pressure or expectations.
Who I Am Beyond a Therapist
Therapists are people, too. Here’s a bit about me:
- Proud dog mom to Lula and Peanut
- Passionate about spending time in nature and appreciating life’s simple pleasures
- Creatively expressive through art and crafting
- A fellow human being doing the work of growth, self-discovery, and healing—just like you
Why I Became a Therapist
As someone raised in a Latinx community where mental health was often stigmatized, I know how hard it can be to ask for help. Therapy wasn’t talked about. Emotions were minimized. But I also know how powerful healing can be when we break the silence.
I became a therapist to challenge cultural stigma and create space for the conversations that have been missing for too long. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported in your healing journey—especially if you’ve felt invisible or misunderstood in the past.
Helping others grow, reclaim their power, and reconnect with their authentic self is my greatest joy. Let’s navigate this together.
