Four Ways We Serve Your Organization
Choose the focus area your team needs most — or build a program that combines them all.
Choose the focus area your team needs most — or build a program that combines them all.
Build the foundation high-performing teams are built on.
WHAT IT IS
Psychological safety — the shared belief that team members can speak up, take interpersonal risks, and be themselves without fear of punishment or humiliation — is the single strongest predictor of team performance. Research from Google’s Project Aristotle and Harvard Business School’s Dr. Amy Edmondson consistently links psychological safety to innovation, inclusion, and retention. Without it, your most capable employees go quiet.
WHAT WE DELIVER
We facilitate evidence-based workshops and leadership trainings that help organizations understand what psychological safety actually is, identify where it is missing, and build the systems and skills to sustain it. Sessions address the dynamics that silence employees, erode trust, and drive turnover — and equip leaders and teams with concrete tools to shift them.
FORMATS AVAILABLE
Best For: Organizations navigating rapid growth, restructuring, DEI commitments, or elevated turnover who want a culture where every employee contributes fully.
Give your team the tools to reset, regulate, and perform.
WHAT IT IS
Chronic workplace stress is not just a productivity problem — it is a physiological one. When the body’s stress response is chronically activated, it impairs cognitive function, emotional regulation, decision-making, and creativity. Somatic (body-based) regulation tools offer the fastest, most accessible pathway to nervous system recovery. These are skills your employees can use in the moment — at their desk, before a high-stakes presentation, or at the end of a depleting day.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Led by our Psychotherapeutic-Registered Yoga Teacher and licensed clinical team, these sessions integrate breathwork, movement, mindfulness, and somatic awareness practices into your workplace in a format that is professional, accessible, and grounded in clinical evidence. We translate somatic therapy into tools that actually fit inside a workday.
FORMATS AVAILABLE
Best For: High-demand environments, healthcare and clinical teams, customer-facing or first-responder roles, and organizations with measurable signs of stress-related performance decline.
Equip your team to recognize, name, and address burnout before it costs you.
WHAT IT IS
Burnout is not a personal failing — it is an organizational outcome. The World Health Organization classifies it as an occupational syndrome driven by chronic unmanaged workplace stress. U.S. employers lose an estimated $125–190 billion annually to burnout-related healthcare costs alone (Harvard Business Review). The greatest preventable cost to your organization may already be sitting inside it.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Our licensed clinicians deliver interactive, psychoeducation-forward workshops that give employees real language and real tools. We address the three dimensions of burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal efficacy), the early warning signs, and the evidence-based skills for building sustainable work practices. This is mental wellness education with clinical depth and practical application.
FORMATS AVAILABLE
Best For: Organizations in high-growth or high-demand phases, healthcare and social service settings, teams post-restructuring, and HR teams building preventive wellness infrastructure.
Using integrative practices to build a resilient employee — not a depleted one.
WHAT IT IS
Resilience is not the ability to push through. True resilience is the internal architecture that allows someone to stay grounded under pressure, recover from difficulty, and continue performing sustainably over time. At The Balancing Place, resilience is not left to chance — it is designed. We draw from integrative mental health — clinical psychology, somatic practice, mindfulness, and whole-person wellness frameworks — to give employees a personalized, evidence-based resilience toolkit they can actually use.
WHAT WE DELIVER
This is our signature offering — an immersive program that integrates all of our disciplines into one cohesive experience. Employees learn to understand their own stress response, identify their resilience strengths and gaps, build regulatory skills, and leave with an actionable personal wellness plan. The result is not a motivated team for one afternoon. It is a more equipped, more grounded, more sustainable workforce.
FORMATS AVAILABLE
Best For: Organizations ready to treat employee wellbeing as a strategic priority, not a perk. Ideal for year-kickoffs, post-merger integration, leadership development, or any moment calling for meaningful cultural investment.
Every organization is different. If your needs span multiple areas, require a custom format, or do not fit neatly into our core offerings — we will build it with you. Our BYO option allows you to co-design a corporate wellness program that reflects your workforce, your culture, and your specific goals.
We begin with a discovery call. Our team will assess your organization’s needs and curate a combination of services, facilitators, and formats that fit. Whether you need a single keynote at your annual conference or a year-long wellness partnership, we can design it.
WHAT IS POSSIBLE
See what a Balancing Place engagement looks like in action.
Architects, engineers, and interior design professionals are trained to build structures that stand the test of time — but who is teaching them to do the same for themselves? In this engagement with NOMA, The Balancing Place facilitated a Resilience by Design experience that invited design professionals to apply the same intentionality they bring to their craft to their own wellbeing. Attendees explored practical tools for stress regulation, sustainable performance, and building a self-care practice as foundational as the work itself.
What does it look like to weave psychological wellbeing into an ordinary workday — not as a break from work, but as part of how work gets done? In this engagement with OrthoMed, The Balancing Place introduced employees to integrative care practices they could incorporate daily: mental offloading to clear cognitive weight before tasks, mindful meals to restore and reset mid-day, and sound bowl therapy to calm the nervous system and support emotional regulation. Attendees left with a personal toolkit for sustaining their psychological health — not just surviving their schedule.
Whether you are building your first corporate wellness program or elevating one that already exists, The Balancing Place brings clinical depth, cultural competence, and integrative expertise to every engagement. Let us talk about what your team needs.
